- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr Blais came very highly recommended to me. He was thoughtful. He listened, etc, and I was very happy. Then he became my husband's Worker's Comp doctor. For seven years I thought he was listening and caring and doing his best. And then I got a copy of the letter he sent regarding my husband's disability and was stunned to learned that he thought and reported (but didn't tell us of his belief) that my husband was exaggerating/lying about his symptoms and was after "secondary gain" in his claim. I don't know at what point he stopped believing and therefore stopped treating my husband, while still submitting bills. He stopped treating my husband and thus interfered with his recovery, and he accused my husband of fraud thus prevented my husband from getting compensation. That he decided not to believe my husband is not the problem. That he was not honest and open enough to communicate this so my husband could find another more effective doctor is very basic dishonesty and very poor care. Being a good doctor means treating everyone as effectively as possible, not picking and choosing who will be treated well and lying to others.July 23, 2017by A Google User
